I am close to being a senior. Unfortunately, not close enough. I feel the biggest concern for seniors is that their prescription costs keep going up and up and they are living on a limited income. I know from first hand experience.

I am at the stage in my life where I need certain medications as an older individual. I am not old enough to qualify for Medicare but not young enough to qualify for MediCal because I am not of child bearing years. I am in the group that is in between.

My father had to work out in the sun due to his job which was construction. Before he passed away I remember him having to have several spots removed from his face and head because of overexposure to the sun. I saw what he went through and do not have any desire to suffer the same fate.

I Have never used tanning salons, but my sister did and is paying for it now. She is 9 years younger than I am and has had to have several skin cancers removed. She has had to have the top surface of her face scraped because of skin lesions.

Some people claim that people that can afford to have children should be the only ones to have children. Well, I disagree. There is always a way to afford a child or two then no more. If only the ones that could afford to have children, there would only be one class of people.

I feel that some obesity is unavoidable. But there must be some medical reason that this child is so overly obese

In some cases in todays society. Women are still paid less than men, So it makes sense that it would be easier for the man to raise the kid

Not in California. I have already tried and I was told that being my employer cancelled the whole package we were not entitled to Cobra or anything else.

My health insurance was cut due to cutbacks. Now I have to try and find health insurance on my own. I barely make $20,000 a year and they expect me to pay premiums of $500-$700 a month. I might as well be one of those that lives on the street because that is where I am headed.
